2 Year Old 15 Hour Free Childcare

If your child is or will soon be 2 years old then you may be eligible for free 15 hours of childcare per week. This translates into just over 11 hours free per week over the whole year with Early Days and therefore is not to be missed! Please apply ahead of your child turning two years of age.

3 Year Old 15 & 30 Hours Free Childcare

All 3 year olds’ are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare per week (based on fees of £41.50 per day) and an additional 15 hours are available if parents meet the criteria set out below.

If your child turns 3 is or will be 3 years old by either:

• 1st January, 1st April or 31st August then they will be entitled to at least 15 hours free funding

• If you are working parents or a lone working parent working for at least 16 hours per week and earning the minimum wage then you will be eligible for an additional 15 free hours per week.
